Présentation
A majority of the various contributions gathered in this collection result from a Colloquium entitled Soul and Intellect : Ancient and medieval perspective on the De Anima, which was held in Leuven and Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) from February 14th to 17th 2007, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Centre De Wulf-Mansion.
For reasons of convenience, the contributions relating to Antiquity and those relating to the Middle Ages are the subject of two distinct publications. This volume gathers a series of articles treating various aspects of the reception of the De Anima in the Middle Ages (and even in the Renaissance), from Averroes to Suarez.
